With new restaurants popping up almost every week here in Atlanta, the competition is getting fierce. Buckhead’s latest restaurant, North Italia is throwing their hat in the ring to make a bid for a new and unique experience. With a U shaped bar as the centerpiece of the dining room, they are already setting themselves a part from the rest of Atlanta’s dining scene. With traditional pizzas and handmade pasta dishes + cocktails that are sure to make your mouth water, this is bound to be a hot spot for after work hours. Their white truffle garlic bread and signature Bolognese dish will have you coming back for seconds and maybe even thirds. In addition to their traditionally served Italian dishes, they will also be serving the quintessential brunch on Sundays, and if you’ve been in Atlanta long enough, you know that’s a must! So whether you’re craving some pizza and garlic bread or a traditional breakfast North Italia is sure to provide you with both!
This new addition to Buckhead restaurants located in Lenox Mall, left nothing to be desired! From the appetizers to the main dishes followed by dessert, every single dish was five star! The crispy calamari was the starter to the meal and they did not skimp on portions. Sautéed in an orange sauce with a grilled lemon vinaigrette the crispy calamari will help to whet your appetite for more of the main courses. While it does serve traditional pizza dishes, the dish that stood out the most was the Bolognese (House Speciality) and it truly stole the show! The pasta was perfect texture mixed with a nice traditional meat sauce, it was the star dish of the night. If you come in North Italia with a larger appetite, you can top of your meal with their delicious Tiramisu.
If you aren’t ready to dive into their menu they offer an amazing variety of drinks from speciality cocktails to draft beers. These can all be enjoyed outside on their patio during the summer and fall months. with umbrellas and fire pits available for either season this Italian spot is sure to become one of Atlanta’s hot spots for the rest of the year, be sure to pop in before it gets to crowded.
