2. Enjoy a burger and a beer at The Vortex
With its iconic skull entrance, The Vortex has solidified itself as one of Atlanta’s quirkiest eats. With an impressive collection of knick-knacks decorating the interior, the madness doesn’t stop at the skull. And we could say that again for their extensive selection of insane sandwiches and burgers. For more information, visit their website.
3. Enjoy the ultimate bar hop in L5P
Bar-hopping in Little Five Points is an ATL right of passage, with so many incredible bars and clubs on offer in the area. We suggest checking out local favorite Little 5 Corner Tavern, for great beer and comfort food. The Star Community Bar for dive bar vibes, The Porter Beer Bar, or all three! You won’t need to look far for more great options to continue on Atlanta’s beloved bar-hop!
4. Catch a show at Variety Playhouse
This converted theater turned concert hall and music venue is a microcosm of the neighborhood it calls home. With a continuously diverse line-up on offer, don’t miss out on the hottest concerts, gigs, and entertainment that are making a pit-stop in the ATL. Visit their website for the full line-up.
5. A Little Five Points shopping spree
There’s a plethora of some pretty unique and interesting shops in Little Five Points. Check out Atlanta’s premiere purveyor of unusual goods, Junkman’s Daughter, for a thrift shop experience like no other. The area is also home to more traditional (but totally awesome) shops like Criminal Records, hippy stores, and beyond.
