Yes, MARTA will still operate over the Christmas holiday, but with modified service schedules on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and Thursday, December 25, 2025, in observance of the Christmas holiday.
What’s the Christmas Eve MARTA schedule?
On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, MARTA buses, trains, and the Streetcar will all operate on Saturday schedules. This includes a change to all lines: the Gold Line, Red Line, Blue Line and Green Line.
Each will run every 15 – 20 minutes, and the Green Line will end service from Bankhead to King Memorial at 9 pm.
What’s the Christmas Day MARTA schedule?

On Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th, 2025, trains operate on Sunday schedules in observance of the holiday.
This also will includes a change to all lines: the Gold Line, Red Line, Blue Line and Green Line.
Each line will run every 15 – 20 minutes, and the Green Line will end service from Bankhead to King Memorial at 9 pm.
