The White House are sending more vaccinations to Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
More Georgians will soon be able to get the COVID-19 vaccination at a new FEMA mass vaccination site in Atlanta.
The site will be located at the Mercedez-Benz Stadium as top White House health officials made the announcement Friday morning at a news conference.
The Biden administration just announced the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta will serve as a federally-run vaccine site capable of administering 6K shots each day. #gapol

Health officials said the site will have the capacity to administer 6,000 shots a day. It will operate seven days a week for an eight-week period.
The mayor also confirmed the news, confirming the site plans to help further expand access to the vaccination for the most vulnerable.
According to the state, Georgia has administered around 2.2 million COVID-19 vaccines.
The site at the Mercedez-Benz Stadium is set to open on March 17, along with four other sites around the city.
