Which two Georgia universities are among the ‘New Ivies’ according to Forbes?

Georgia has one public and one private university on its list:
- Georgia Institute of Technology-Main Campus, also known as Georgia Tech (14% acceptance rate – down 2% from last year)
- Emory University (11% acceptance rate)
Georgia Tech students’ test grades soar, with a median SAT score of 1480 and a median ACT score of 33.
Emory students score even higher on average, with students averaging a 1520 SAT score and 34 ACT score.
