The underground Atlanta has had the ultimate revamp over the past couple years and it continues to expand with new attractions every couple of months. Underground has been a culturally hub for Atlantans and has since been used as a venue for mini festivals and concerts since its redesign. Visitors have been able to enjoy shopping, immersive experiences, art shows and more. Now Atlantas can expect a new pizzeria installation.
Dolo’s pizzeria is opening a brick and mortar store in Underground Atlanta. This pizzeria is owned by Alyson Williams and chef Yusef Walker. Dolo’s specializes in NY style pizza with delicious Caribbean flavors. Originally started as just a pop-up the popularity of Dolo’s kept the demand for more unique pizzas and a bigger space.
Some of their unique flavored pies include The Coliseum (Iemon-pepper impossible beef, broccoli, red onions, topped with balsamic glaze), Matey (marinara, mozzarella, jerk chicken, bleu cheese, & honey), Mr. Rager (garlic cream, mozzarella, goat cheese, bacon, roasted mushrooms, cilantro), and more! Their pizza is baked to order, so guests are guaranteed to be hot and ready to eat whether dining in or to-go.
Dolo’s anticipated opening is later this month with hours: Wednesday and Thursday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. until late.
