What is No Words ATL?
No Words ATL is an annual instrumental music festival that focuses on spotlighting and celebrating the tremendous talent and diversity of the Atlanta music community!
The lineup of events, curated by Ben Garden, features dancers, musicians, bands, dj’s and a NOLA 2nd line flag parade created in collaboration with Art Span NOLA artists Monica Rose Kelly and Antonia Zennaro and Freak Flag Freedom Party.
This year, performers include:
- Flavvors: part of Auxigen ATL, a collective of digital musicians and beatmakers
- The Bird City Revolutionaries, who play a blend of reggae, dub, Afro-funk, Ethiopian jazz, and psychedelic grooves to create a sound as dynamic and diverse as their members.
- Mark Warren, who blends DJing, synth pop tunes, and gnarly keytar shredding
- Musicians and Movers , a collaborative dance troop founded by Luciana Arias that combines improvisational music with interpretive dance
You can also check out the amazing Freak Flag parade, which will begin at the L5P Community Center at 2pm, and march to Davis Plaza by 3pm!
