Did you know there’s a nearly 9-foot shark that hangs out near Georgia’s coast? Well, now you do! Her name is Gladee, and she’s an adorable juvenile white shark! (If you’re going swimming soon, don’t worry, she hasn’t been seen in the area since December!) But how do we know all about Gladee? With this super cool shark (and other ocean giant) tracker!
You might be thinking: why on EARTH would I want to know that there are sharks in the water? Well… fair. But the tracker actually shows that the sharks are further out in the water, so you can rest assured that your beach vacay won’t be, er, interrupted by a shark! But you can also track adorable, gentle sea turtles, playful dolphins, and more! And if you go inland, the tracker actually works to identify alligators in the marshes and wetlands too! And the best part, this tracker helps with ocean animal research, to protect our ocean wildlife!
