There will not be a ONE Musicfest in 2026.
In a post on social media today, founder J. Carter & the ONE Musicfest team stated,
16 years. Never just another festival.
We’ve pushed culture forward, brought generations together, and built something that didn’t exist before we created it. Starting with 1,500 of you at our very first festival, and growing into a homecoming for 100,000+ every year since.That’s why we’re pausing ONE Musicfest in 2026. Not stepping back, but building forward. This year is about reimagining what’s next: new experiences, new energy, new ideas worthy of everything this community has built together.
To every artist, fan, and supporter who made this what it is, thank you. This next era starts now.

During this time, ONE Musicfest will regroup and plan for the future–and the massive crowds it draws. Fans of the festival shared their disappointment, encouragement for the future, and excitement for 2027 on social media.
What is ONE Musicfest?
ONE Musicfest, which usually happens in October in Piedmont Park, is the nation’s largest Black-owned, open-air, multi-stage music festival, attracting more than 100k diverse music lovers from all over the U.S.
Founded by veteran event producer, Jason “J” Carter in Atlanta, OMF celebrates Black music and culture with iconic performances! Last year’s festival featured some of the top artists in the world, including Ludacris, Doechii, Future, and Mary J. Blige… among many other superstars.
We’re excited to see them back and better than ever before in 2027.
