But you can finally stop stressing, as we’ve conjured up this list of the best Italian hotspots in A-Town where you can order some deliciously tempting pasta dishes.
From the ATL’s favorite lasagna to gnocchi that’ll knock your socks off, here are ten unbeatable places to get pasta in Atlanta.
1. La Grotta Ristorante
Where: Buckhead
If you’re looking to swoon with some romance, then Buckhead’s La Grotta Ristorante is a beloved option. If the weather’s right, enjoy a sunset dinner on their gorgeous private patio, decked with enchanting lights and the some of the most popular pasta dishes in the ATL.

Where: Old Fourth Ward
The pasta is as comforting as the warm interiors at this O4W gem. With the pasta made fresh by hand every day, expect a flavorful menu of renowned dishes, featuring traditional, under-the-radar and more innovative takes on Italian cuisine.
3. Grana
Where: Morningside-Lenox Park
Savor the flavors of Southern Italy at one of Atlanta’s favorite Italian eats, Grana. Their pasta dishes are to die for, but we suggest always ordering a pizza to share on the side. Nothing beats carbs on carbs, and y’all know we all deserve it!
4. Amore e Amore
Where: Inman Park
If you’re looking for somewhere truly unique for your next date or celebration, try out Inman Park’s enchanting Amore e Amore. Famous for their pop-up experiences, different themes transform the Italian restaurant throughout the year.
5. La Tavola Trattoria
Where: Virginia-Highland
Known for the approachable atmosphere and friendly vibes, La Travola Trattoria is a restaurant on a lot of ATLien’s lips when asked to suggest somewhere for chowing down on pasta. We’re big fans of their squid ink spaghetti, and always try to snag a table on their adorable patio/balcony if possible.
6. Nino’s Italian Restaurant
Where: Morningside-Lenox Park
Opening in 1968, Nino’s is the oldest Italian restaurant in the ATL. If it’s lasagna you’re after, then we highly recommend heading to this Lenox Park favorite as soon as you can. However, don’t say we didn’t warn you. It’ll be very difficult to take your mind off Nino’s take on the Naples staple once you’ve tried it!
7. St. Cecilia
Where: Buckhead
Specializing in seafood pasta dishes and other Italian favorites, this glamorous and striking addition boasts high ceilings and elegant décor, which compliments the fabulous selection of dishes on the menu. Make sure to make use of their knowledgeable staff and make your way through the extensive wine list.
8. Pricci
Where: Buckhead
For something a little more contemporary, check out Pricci. Serving up authentic regional Italian cooking, this Buckhead eat has several accolades under its belt, including “Pasta Restaurant of the Year” by the Pasta Institute of America.

Where: Peachtree Center
This absolutely beautiful restaurant in the heart of Atlanta is one of the city’s favorite places to get pasta. The stunning décor and continuous adoration for the service makes this Italian stand out in its own unique way.
10. Gio’s Chicken Amalfitano
Where: Home Park
For no nonsense and just incredible food inspired by the Amalfi Coast, as well as unbeatable service, make sure to check out Gio’s Chicken Amalfitano. The menu is small but mighty, and we suggest trying the Al Forno or the Lemon Chicken.
