It’s almost time for the iconic annual AJC Peachtree Road Race, hosted by the Atlanta Track Club! And as a special treat for Atlantans who want to participate (but don’t want to run… don’t worry, we see you!), the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has created a friendly competition for a local Atlantan to sing The Star-Spangled Banner ahead of the race!
Now that they’ve narrowed down the competition to a few finalists, you can vote to see who gets to sing! The AJC reports,
Now, Atlanta Track Club has sifted through them all and selected finalists for each category — five adult singers vying to perform before the Peachtree Road Race on July 4 and five young singers hoping to sing ahead of Peachtree Junior on July 3.
How do I vote for who will sing the national anthem before the Peachtree Road Race?
You can watch all the videos of the singing finalists on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s website! Then, scroll to the bottom of their page to vote for your favorite! Find both the videos and voting HERE!
Voting ends on Sunday, June 15th, 2025–so don’t wait around!
