Swimming in Piedmont Park has been an Atlantan summer tradition for generations, dating back to before the original bathhouse was built in 1911. Nowadays known as Piedmont Park’s Pool & Aquatics Center, the gorgeous outdoor swimming pool has become one of the most-loved things to do at the ATL park.
The bathhouse is now a 9,000 square foot LEED certified event space called Greystone, and the Aquatic Center is a renovation of a swimming pool built in 1973. The charming pool feature four lap-lanes, aswell as a beach-style entry with current channel for floating and some ultimate R&R. You could even take a book and get away from it all, on their gorgeously landscaped deck!
Opening times for the Piedmont Park swimming pool are 10am until 5pm Monday through Friday, and 12pm until 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. One-time access to the pool and aquatics center costs $5. There’s also seasonal passes on offer, differentiating in price depending on what package you want. Packages are based on how many people you wish to join, with individual passes also available.
