All twelve of Atlanta’s public swimming pools are completely free of charge this summer. And the Mayor of Atlanta officially opened the pools on Saturday, May 28th! The summer pools have become a beloved part of ATL-living, and as the days get warmer, the more eager we are to relax and cool off by the pool.
In an announcement on Instagram, the City of Atlanta stated, “Visit any of the 12 outdoor pools for a day in the water with friends and family starting May 28th. We look forward to seeing you there!”
Pools included on the list include Grant Park, Adams Park, Pittman Park, and more! As well as pools for laps, there’s pools with kids zones, splash zones, and perfect little corners to catch some rays and get lost in a good book.

Opening days and times fluctuate, and there may be certain closures, so it’s always best to check before heading out for the day, just to avoid disappointment.
