Calling all pug lovers in the ATL! If you adore pugs, (and especially if you have one!), this festival is the perfect event for you and your crew! Pugfest 2024, hosted by Pug Rescue of Florida & Georgia, will be at Fire Maker Brewing Company this weekend! You can’t miss out!
Wait, wait… Pugfest?
That’s right! Pugfest 2024 is a celebration of all things pug! Pug Rescue of Florida and Georgia is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue that works in Georgia and Florida to save pugs. Pug Rescue helps people searching for a pug adopt a dog in need of a home, helps give long-term care to pugs with health issues, and also helps you if you are unable to care for your pug and must surrender it.
Pugfest is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, and it’s right here in Atlanta!
What can attendees expect at Pugfest 2024?
There will be TONS of fun events at Pugfest 2024! Visitors can expect:
- Cool Hippie Santa will be making an appearance for pics with you and/or your pugs
- Pug-themed Tarot Card Readings for you or your pug
- Pug races to enjoy and cheer on!
- Have your pug’s Caricature drawn as a memento from the day
- Visit the the Rescue Information Tent to learn more about adopting, fostering and volunteering!
- Current Foster Dogs will also be on-site to meet. (No on-site adoptions!)
You can also expect tons of local vendors, delicious local food, and of course, Fire Maker’s mouthwatering brews! You can grab VIP swag bags, enter raffles, and enjoy a nice beer with the game on!
