The Record Loft

This record store is located off Ponce de Leon and has all genres of music from jazz, R&B, rock, and hip-hop. This record store was started by a husband and wife duo, Steve and Margo Tockerman. The Record Loft has a relaxing cozy vibe and energy that allows its customers to immerse themselves in the timeless energy of music.

Moods Music in Little Five Points offers customers not only records, but they have new & used CD’s. They even offer the “archaic” DVD’s. If you are looking for gifts, then this is also the spot for you. Mood’s Music offers t-shirts, incense, candles and more knick-nacks to gift a friend.

Since 1976 Fantasyland Records has been a gem in this city for those looking for an extensive array of records. Not only can you buy records here, but you can also sell and trade records. They carry an array of new vinyl records as well!
Wax N’ Facts
Location: 432 Moreland Ave NE, Atlanta GA 30307
Another staple in the L5P community started by Danny Beard and Harry DeMille in 1976, Wax N’ Facts is known for its variety of vinyl’s (new and old), cassettes and CD’s. One of the fun facts about Wax N’ Facts is that it use to also house a recording studio where Beard used to record artists! The recording studio is no more, but there is def still the same retro vibes and energy that made this place so popular to begin with.

A “newer” establishment in the record industry, Criminal Records, started in 1991 is locally owned and independently operated. Criminal Records is also located in the tight knit community of L5P. This record store sets itself apart by also having events and artists perform at their store! If you are unable to actually make it to their store in person, they also offer online shopping.
