Most Americans agree that pizza is the perfect go-to food, and pizza in the A is no different. We’ve got no shortage of delicious pizzerias in Atlanta, but there’s always room for a slice from one more delicious spot. And good news, too! Because Georgia is getting fifteen (yes 15!!) iconic Sally’s Apizza locations soon. Keep scrolling for all the details.
Wait… hold up. What’s going on?

Sally’s just released a new ‘strategic location goals’ report, which broke down a massive expansion plan in coming years. They plan to open up a whopping 255 new restaurants across 12 states, including Georgia. Currently, Sally’s is looking at 15 locations opening up in Georgia.
There is no known exact timeline or plan for the construction, as of right now.
What is Sally’s Apizza & why is it special?
Sally’s Apizza’s journey begins in New England in the late 1930s. In 1938, founder Salvatore “Sally” Consiglio opened the first location in New Haven, Connecticut. It remained the only Sally’s location until 2021, when the pizzeria expanded more locally, to Stamford and then across Massachusetts.
Sally’s also has some notable fans, with celebrity fans including Paul Newman, John F. Kennedy, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gordon Ramsay and the one and only, Frank Sinatra.
And of course David Portnoy, the founder and owner of the iconic internet culture company, Barstool Sports, says Sally’s is his #1 favorite pizzeria.
What does Sally’s offer guests?

One of the draws of Sally’s is that they bake their pizzas in a 3000 degrees (F) open flame oven, and use a freshly shredded cheese blend & a delicious secret sauce recipe.
