Avalon is finally getting what it deserves this holiday season, a special Santa-themed pop-up bar for a whole lot of festive cheer. Renowned holiday pop-up connoisseurs (Santa’s Fantastical) have conjured up this boozy Christmas experience unique to Avalon, entitled Santa’s Secret Stache.
Nestled just of the Plaza, where Avalon’s iconic ice-skating rink is located, get ready to step into a jolly wonderland of festive fun.
The brand-new holiday hangout spot will be serving seasonally themed cocktails, in addition to sweets from nationally recognized dessert company Milk Bar, as well as other local bakeries. The whimsical wonderland opens to the public November 11, just in time for the shopping and entertainment district’s festive season.
The ‘Stache’s new home at Avalon will feature a variety of colorful designs and furniture, with every surface being covered in a different pattern, and holiday cheer!
The owners will use décor elements from Santa’s Fantastical throughout the 3,900-square-foot space to create a magical setting that inspires nostalgia and holiday cheer. Instagrammable spots will be installed and scattered across the venue for guests to capture the jolliest moments on camera.
This new pop-up will offer walk-up counter service with open seating. You’ll be able to order something from the extensive cocktail menu using a QR code, which will text you once your order is ready.
Speaking of cocktails, there’s a whopping eighteen proprietary cocktails to choose from, including Jingle Juice, Polar Expresso Martini, Grinch Kiss, Sleigh All Day, and Noggin’ on Heavens Door. Since it is the holiday season, there’s strictly sweet treats on the menu, and we’re totally okay with that!
Hours of operation for the pop-up will be similar to those of Avalon’s ice rink on most days, with entry being limited to guests 21 and over after 5 p.m. At full capacity, it can accommodate between 120 and 130 people on a first come, first served basis.
