Southern Fried Queer Pride, one of Atlanta’s coolest and queer-est community organizations is throwing a week-long pride festival, and the events this weekend are NOT to be missed! We’ve decided to make a guide to help you navigate exactly what’s happening and when, so you can enjoy the last couple days of Pride Month! (And then keep celebrating queerness all year round, of course!)
Here’s what you need to know about SFQP’s weekend festival!
SWEET TEA! A Queer Variety Show
When: June 29th @ 9pm
Where: Aisle 5 | 1123 Euclid Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307
Enjoy a super fun queer variety show full of music, drag, burlesque, and so much more at SWEET TEA! A Queer Variety Show! This event features performances from amazing artists from all over the south/southeast! Doors open at 9pm. The event is 18+

SFQP Festival Artist Market
When: June 29th – 30th from 1pm – 6pm
Where: Euclid Ave in Little 5 Points
If you’re looking to shop local and shop queer, the SFQP artist market is the perfect place to do it! With 80+ vendors, they’re taking over the whole street in Little 5! You’ll find all kinds of amazing art, goods, jewelry, and more! This event is free and open to all! And get more details on their website here!
In The Lot! Outdoor Festival Live Entertainment Stage
When: June 29th – 30th from 1pm – 5pm
Where: Little 5 Points Community Center |
And have even more fun watching live entertainment at the festival! This amazing outdoor stage will feature drag, burlesque, yoga, music, and so many more incredible acts! Dirty Work: Workshops & Skillshares

There’s nothing more rooted in queerness than community and sharing what we have with each other. And what better way to build community and understanding than to host a huge workshop? The SFQP workshops range from meditation practices, to media literacy, to end-of-life planning to kink workshops, to filmmaking and beyond! You don’t want to miss out on these amazing workshops!

Looking for some sick new fits? Oh, you’re in the right spot! We all know the best-dressed people are queer people who thrift… so… come get a GOOD outfit! And SFQP is sweetening the deal even more–they’re doing a $20 grab bag sale. In other words, they give you a bag and you pay $20 for everything you can put in the bag! They’ve also got all items individually priced on a sliding scale! They take cash, card, Cash App, & Venmo! Event is open to all ages!
