If you live in Atlanta, then you know we love our Stranger Things filming. From learning about the secret filming locations, to recognizing our iconic city when we watch the show, and even to running into the actors out and about in town–we’re a Stranger Things city!
And if you’ve ever been watching the show, wishing you could get on it… well, now’s your chance! Netflix is looking for photo doubles and extras for Season 5 of Stranger Things, and they’re casting now.
Here’s what they’re looking for:
- 6’2″ – 6’4″ white male photo double
- 4’10” – 5’1″ white brunette female photo double
- 5’0″ blonde photo double (any gender)
- 4’7″ Black female photo double
- 4’11” white brunette female photo double
- 4’8″ Asian/Hispanic/Mediterranean photo double (any gender)
- Vintage Vehicles (1970s-1980s) & Drivers (18+, any gender)
They’re also looking for background to be played by general adults, military men (with actual tactical experience), and much more!

What do they need to know from me?
If you’re serious about submitting, Stranger Things will need to know some details from you too. They’ll need to know your basic demographics, your clothing sizes, availability, if you have any tattoos, and if you’re okay with them cutting or changing your hair on set.
You’ll also need to provide your social media handles, and know if you’ve ever appeared on Stranger Things as a background actor before!
When is filming?
Stranger Things filming depends on the scenes you are selected for and the needs of the show! You should check to make sure you are available for the dates you select BEFORE you submit!
