Breakfast at Gato is back!
After ditching their beloved breakfast earlier in the summer, morning foods are back at pop-up loving café Gato. This time, Taiwanese-American connoisseurs Mighty Hans are bringing breakfast bites to Candler Park for a limited time only.
Beginning Saturday, October 9, chef Fu-Mao Sun will transform Gato into a pop-up Taiwanese safe-haven. The full menu hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we know we’re in excellent hands.
Expect specialty dishes like fried crullers, a doughnut filled with pineapple custard and topped with an irresistible pineapple glaze.
The Saturday breakfast pop-up is perfect for brunch, running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., October 9 through October 30. It will even include morning cocktails from Atlanta bartender Anthony Carpenter, so make sure you’ve got that designated driver sorted!
In an Instagram post, Mighty Hans wrote: “We’re excited to announce every Saturday in October starting on the 9th we’ll be at Gato in Candler Park from 10am-1pm. We’ll be serving up our version of Taiwan breakfast with cocktails.”
You can find Gato in Candler Park at 1660 McLendon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307.
