The Livingston Restaurant attached to the Georgian Terrace Hotel has just reopened recently and has been the talk of the town. And for good reason! The new Executive Chef Steven Meese hopes to revive this restaurant’s menu. Secret Atlanta had the opportunity to see exactly how Chef Meese plans to bring new life into this classic restaurant.
Meese has curated the perfect menu from appetizers to down to desserts. The she crab soup is the perfect dish to kick off your meal. Light frothy, delicious, and just the right amount of crab meat, you will not be disappointed. Guests will also be able to enjoy their rich craft cocktail menu while anticipating your next dish.
The cocktail menu gives guests numerous options. Whether you enjoy gins, vodkas, bourbons, or more, The Livingston has you covered. One of their more popular drink, the Bee’s Knees is a perfectly light cocktail to enjoy with your meal or if you’re just stopping by the bar for a quick bite. Guests have their pick of seafood, poultry, beef, or vegetarian dishes. Each dish is guaranteed to have your taste buds singing.
A fan favorite is the scallop with risotto. Perfectly grilled lump scallops lay atop a creamy risotto that is beyond mouth-watering. To add extra flair and flavor to the dish, they also include a chorizo sausage that perfectly complements the flavors in the risotto. Finish off your meal with a decadent dessert from their sweets menu to complete this experience.
The peach cobbler is the perfect way to complete your time at The Livingston. Topped with a creamy vanilla ice cream scoop and raspberry drizzle, you are bound to enjoy this delicious morsel. Chef Meese will also be creating a revived spring menu for guests to enjoy as the days get warmer and warmer. Some dishes that patrons can hope to enjoy include Smoked White Asparagus soup + peekytoe crab, Berkshire Spanish rubbed bone-in tomahawk steak with corn puree and piquillo peppers, and spring wild berry cobbler topped with buttermilk ice cream.
Those are just a few of the dishes that will be added to the spring menu this season. Be sure to stop by The Livingston before or after a night at The Fox to add a little something special to your night. You can learn more about The Livingston here.
