Happy Trans Day of Visibility, Atlanta! Today we’re celebrating and honoring our vibrant trans community here in the ATL!
What is Trans Day of Visibility?
Trans Day of Visibility is an international holiday that focuses on lifting up the voices of, celebrating, and honoring trans and non-binary people! To celebrate, you can donate to trans-led organizations, shop at trans-owned businesses, enjoy queer events, and of course, learn trans history!
To celebrate this year in the ATL, we’re made a list of all the best Atlanta-based trans organizations that you can support! Keep scrolling to see how you can help out!
1. Trans Housing Atlanta Program

THAP provides access to safe housing and supportive services to transgender and gender non-binary individuals experiencing homelessness in metro Atlanta. They believe whole-heartedly that, “every transgender and gender nonconforming person in Georgia have access to safe and comfortable housing.”
