The USA Is Lifting Its Travel Ban For Vaccinated Europeans From November

Welcome back, y’all!

After imposing heavy travel restrictions into the country since the start of the pandemic, the White House announced today that the US will be lifting travel restrictions for vaccinated tourists from the UK and EU come November.

It’s especially exciting news for those with family across the pond, as it will have been 18 months since Donald Trump first imposed a travel ban on UK travellers.

Passengers will be required to show proof of vaccination along with a negative COVID-19 test within three days of their departure.

According to the BBC, the news has already made a significant impact towards “travel recovery” as “Airline shares rose in response to the new travel rules, with British Airways owner IAG up as much as 10%.”
