Which matches will be hosted at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
The U.S. Men’s National Team will play two massive matches before the FIFA World Cup at Mercedes-Benz:
- USA vs. Belgium on Saturday, March 28th, 2026
- USA vs. Portugal on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026
Both of these matches are a huge deal for the U.S. Men’s National Team. Belgium is ranked at #8 and Portugal is ranked at #6… and is, of course, soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s team. (So yes, the GOAT is coming to the ATL!)
In fact, according to CBS News,
Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo could play in the U.S. for the first time since Aug. 2, 2014, when he was with Real Madrid for a preseason friendly against Manchester United at Ann Arbor, Michigan.
These two matches are a party of ATL’s final four friendlies ahead of the World Cup.
USA vs Portugal will be one of the most high-profile soccer events in the city’s history, too, cementing our place as one of the biggest soccer cities in the U.S.!
