Atlanta’s favorite plant-based burger joint expands with a brand new cocktail bar.
Slutty Vegan has gained quite the stellar reputation in the ATL. The popular restaurant chain serves an array of plant-based burgers, sandwiches and snacks, which all started as a food truck! This time however, it’s an unexpected collaboration with Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks, as well as an unmissable bar that’s on offer, at our beloved Ponce City Market.
Bar Vegan will make its debut earlier in the year, and is located on the second floor of Ponce City Market’s Central Food Hall. It replaced The Mercury, which closed its doors in May 2019. Their vegan chilli cheesesteaks and unbeatable cocktails are an excellent replacement.
With three Slutty Vegan locations across Atlanta, Bar Vegan promises to be different to its sister restaurants. Incorporating signature and specialty cocktails they’ve entitled “bar theatre.” As per the press release, it’s described as a “fun, high energy atmosphere with exciting and exotic visual presentations of food and drink.”
Founder of this exciting vegan umbrella Pinky Cole has also announced they’ll be opening another Slutty Vegan outside of Georgia very soon, this time in Birmingham Alabama. The exciting news is providing hope to many restauranteurs who’ve felt the pinch of 2020, and the ongoing restrictions.
Unlike Slutty Vegan, Bar Vegan will have a fully licensed bar. Serving up drinks in unique and mind-blowing ways that are perfect for the Insta! Did we mention vegan chilli cheesesteaks?
