Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks teams with Slutty Vegan, for new Ponce City Market venture ‘Dinkies’.
Cheesesteak chef Derrick Hayes has teamed up with an Atlantan vegan connoisseur on his new venture. CEO of Slutty Vegan Pinky Cole agreed to a partnership with Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks to bring Atlanta Dinkies
A combination of names Dave and Pinky, Dinkies promises a delicious plant-based menu that honors both businesses.
The eatery is now open, along with Pinky’s new vegan bar also in Ponce City Market. Both in the Old Fourth Ward mixed-use development, Dickies is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for take-out or while sitting and enjoying cocktails at Bar Vegan.
According to an announcement this week, ““Dinkies is the perfect whirlwind of Slutty Vegan ATL’s vegan comfort food blended with the world-famous recipes of Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks.”
Serving up vegan cheesesteaks, cauliflower wings, cheesesteak egg rolls, traditional tots, and sweet potato tots. The whole menu will be made with specialty Dinkies seasonings.
“Teaming up with Derrick of Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks was a no-brainer,” Cole said in a released statement. “At Dinkies customers get to experience authentic vegan Philly’s that taste great. We are excited to bring this fresh concept to the Atlanta market, with future plans to expand.”
Hayes added, “I’m excited to join forces with Pinky Cole and bring my world-famous Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks concept to the vegan world in a fresh & innovative way,”
