Is there anything more satisfying than getting to the end of a long hike and seeing the majesty of a cascading waterfall? Turns out, yes… jumping in to the cool water! We’ve rounded up a list of amazing swimming holes and waterfalls throughout Georgia that you can actually swim in! So keep scrolling to see where to take your next dip!

1. Vickery Creek Trail at Roswell Mill, Roswell, GA

To get to the gorgeous waterfall at Victory Creek Trail, you can either hike around the area first, or take a short walk to the falls! This beautiful waterfall has crisp, cool water, and is perfect for a summer dip! You can even get right in the waterfall and let it rain down on you!

2. Edge of the World, Dawsonville, GA

It might sound a little spooky, but The Edge of the World on the Amicalola Riveris nothing but a good time! You can take a little 2.5 mile loop hike or walk a short half mile on the boardwalk! There’s an amazing swimming hole (NOT ON THE WATERFALL), that’s perfect for swimming and picnicking!

Located at the bottom of some truly beautiful waterfalls, this swimming hole is the perfect place for a summertime dip! The trek to the swimming spot is only 0.8 miles, so it’s very easy, and the water is cool and beautiful!
