Virginia-Highland’s Winterfest has a little something for everyone to enjoy! Let us break down the weekend’s events for you.
The Jingle Jog
The Jingle Jog is back and bigger than ever before this year! Sign up to run the festive 5K, and you’ll get a commemorative race T-shirt… and your payment will go to Virginia-Highland to keep the neighborhood beautiful!
Oh, and there’s a fun run for the little ones too. The Elf Dash is 0.25-mile (500 feet) and free for participants under 12 years old.
Costumes and festive fits are encouraged for the run!

The Winterfest Holiday Parade
If you’re looking for some real holiday magic, then you’ve gotta check out Virginia-Highland’s festive Holiday Parade, which rolls out after the Jingle Jog, and makes its way down Lanier Blvd with floats & cheer!

The Winterfest Gift Market
When: December 13th from 11am – 5pm
Find gifts worth giving and support the 80 talented local makers and artisans at the heart of the festival. From youth-made crafts to unique vintage jewelry, the Gift Market is the perfect place to shop small and check off everyone on your list.
The Kids Corner
Winterfest isn’t just for the grown-ups! Your kids will love the Winterfest Kids Corner–with festive crafts, s’mores, face painting, bounce houses… and so much more! Let the kiddos make some holiday memories while you shop at the Gift Market!
The Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes
During Winterfest, Virginia-Highland is also hosting their iconic annual Tour of Homes. During this exciting experience, you can step inside some of Virginia-Highland’s most beautiful homes, dressed up for the season. From historic bungalows to elegant revival styles, you can explore the neighborhood’s unique architecture, history, and warm holiday spirit.
