Who is Angel Reese?
Angel Reese is an All-Star WNBA basketball player, formerly playing for the Chicago Sky.
In the 2024 WNBA Draft, when Reese was drafted to the Chicago Sky, she was the #7 overall pick. She was named to the All-Rookie team during her first season, as well as All-Star in her second season, while leading the league in rebounding both years.
Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca said in a statement,
Angel has achieved many record-breaking milestones in her first two years in the WNBA and has been a competitive force for the Sky. We are thankful for her many important contributions to this league and this game, and we know she will continue to have a big impact on the court and beyond. We wish Angel all the best in her next chapter.
Reese has had a rivalry with Caitlin Clark since leading LSU to beat Clark’s Iowa team in the most-watched women’s basketball game on record for the time in 2023.
According to NBC News,
In 64 career games, Reese is averaging 14.1 points, 12.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
