What is Wonder Festival?
Wonder Festival is a celebration of the artistry behind collectible design and production. The festival began in 1985 as a small gathering for figure makers and model enthusiasts, but has since become Japan’s most influential figure and hobby showcase.
Since 1992, the festival has been organized by Kaiyodo Co., Ltd., and continues to celebrate the artistry behind collectible design and production, highlighting both professional studios and independent creators!

Every year, tens of thousands of fans come together to discover new sculpts, meet artists, and celebrate the creative process behind figures, models, and garage kits that inspire collectors worldwide.
What can festival goers expect at Wonder Festival?
For the first time ever, Americans will be able to experience the magic of Wonder Festival up close and personal! This year, Wonder Festival will have a 100,000 sq. ft. zone at MomoCon, complete with tons of amazing exhibits, including:
- Japanese and international figure studios
- Independent garage kit creators and artisan toy designers
- Limited-edition collectibles and cultural showcases
