ZuCot is an unmissable addition to Atlanta’s thriving art scene
ZuCot Gallery is the largest African-American owned fine art gallery in the Southeast. If you haven’t been to this ATL gem, then it’s about time you did. Located in the historic Castleberry Hill district of downtown Atlanta, the 3,500 sq. foot space offers an incredible art collection from some of the most prolific contemporary artists of our time.
Their mission includes the promotion and to exhibit original works of art by living African American artists. The space was launched in 2008 by Troy Taylor, an engineer who developed a passion for art collecting. This reigns true today, with the exhibition space providing “both novice and seasoned collectors with meaningful and unique services that enhance the art collecting experience!”
As well as their Castleberry exhibition space, they have a spectacular virtual exhibition that continuously provides a glimpse into the excellent work on offer at ZuCot.
If you prefer to experience art galleries in person, then ZuCot provides a stellar experience. If the mind-blowing pieces on display weren’t enough on their own, the staff will gladly help you out and provide precise information about any piece you find interesting.
If you’re an art lover, then make sure you check out ZuCot as soon as you can. Exhibitions are open to view by appointment only. Click here to visit their website.
