The Atlanta Journal Constitution says,
And behind the cold front that arrives late Monday, temps are expected to drop to 10 to 20 degrees below normal. Tuesday’s high is expected to top out in the low 40s in Atlanta.
The temperatures tonight are expected to be in the 20s, so make sure to drip your faucets and stay warm!
Is this normal for weather in Atlanta in December?
The AJC reports,
With a 49-degree projected high in the city Monday, temperatures across the area are already running about five to 10 degrees below the average 59-degree high for this time of year, according to the National Weather Service.
Will it stay cold like this?
Temperatures are expected to slowly crawl back up to the mid-5os by mid week, making them more average. But it’ll be clear and cold for the beginning of the week!
Did you say snow flurries?
Yes! You read that right! In North Georgia, up in the mountains, there might even be a few flurries! That doesn’t mean snow that will stick, but if you’re in the mountains, you might see some!
