When do I need to register to vote by?
To vote in the general election on November 5th, 2024, you need to register to vote online or in person by October 7th. In Georgia, the rule to remember is to register before “The fifth Monday before Election Day, unless that day is a legal holiday, in which case the deadline is the close of business on the following day.”
If you’re mailing in your registration, the envelope needs to be postmarked on that day.

What’s on the ballot?
Your ballot will have more than just the presidential candidates on it. Along with voting for president, you’ll be able to vote for governor, statewide races, congress, Senate, House, and some county posts.

When does early voting begin?
Early in-person voting begins October 15th, 2024.
How can I get an absentee ballot?
Apply for absentee voting here! You will have to print this document once you receive it in the mail, and then sign and date it with a pen.
Once your ballot is completed, return your ballot to your local election office. The address will be provided for you when the ballot is mailed to you, but you can also find it here!
Absentee ballots must be received by the time polls close on Election Day.
