The history of Little’s Food Store
The Littles opened their iconic Little’s Food Store in Cabbagetown in 1929, and moved to its current building at 198 Carroll Street in 1941.
Brad and Nina Cunard took over the establishment in 2010, and have kept its cozy, community-first atmosphere ever since. If Atlanta had a real bodega, it would be Little’s (they even had a ‘cat goes here’ spot for their inherited shop cat, Dexter, who passed away in 2023).
Today, you can stop by Little’s for a yummy & affordable lunch, some basic necessity groceries, and grab-and-go goods.
