Using their renowned ‘from scratch’ approach, Grana has solidified itself as not only one of Atlanta’s best Italian restaurants, but a go-to in our ever-growing culinary scene. From the freshest pasta to authentic pizzas, make sure to drop a pin on this eatery for the next time you’re craving an Italian feast for dinner! You can’t leave without checking out their tempting cocktail menu, however, you’ll definitely want to try a couple (or more) on their stunning rooftop, so have that designated driver at the ready!
2. North Italia

This chain that’s scattered across the United States has finally made it to Georgia, making its Atlanta debut in Buckhead earlier in the year. North Italia use only the best ingredients to create and serve consistently crave-worthy food, like their chef’s choice daily pizza and fresh pasta made from scratch daily. 3. Piastra
Where: Marietta
If it’s pasta you’re after, then Piastra is the place for you! This family-owned legend on Marietta Square is beloved by many ATLiens. Offering an authentic Italian dining experience, their extensive menu is guaranteed to please every palette in your party! If you’re looking for something extra special, you can let Chef Greg curate a meal specifically for you and up to ten guests! Ask your server, or call about a Chef’s Table Dinner.
4. Antico Pizza Napoletana
Where: Georgia Tech/Westside (also seen in Avalon & The Battery)
One of our favorite spots to get a pizza pie in the ATL, find this discreet eat, hidden away on the Westside of Atlanta. Antico’s is part of Little Italia, modelled after the historic towns across Italy. With Gio’s Chicken Italiano & Maccheroni, Caffè Antico and Bar Amalfi also on offer, this recreation of the magnificent energy seen on classic Italian street scenes, is an unmissable experience indeed!
5. Antica Posta
Where: Buckhead
Antica Posta offers quintessential Tuscan cooking. Open nightly for dinner, expect Tuscan specialties, like signature meat and fish dishes, homemade pastas and breads, and delicious appetizers. Get captivated in their dramatic yet homely bar, where you can enjoy a couple of aperitifs before digging into the true taste of Tuscany.
6. BoccaLupo
Where: Inman Park
Serving up a classic Italian American fare, BoccaLupo is a great spot with an ever-changing menu thanks to their keen interest in staying seasonal, fresh, and fun! Their extensive menu features an awesome selection of pasta dishes. We recommend trying out their 20-yolk Tagliatelle with mushrooms, kale kimchi & European butter. But make sure that you also take a deep-dive into their exquisite Antipasti Menu.
7. Forza Storico
Where: Westside Provisions District
Inspired by the city of Rome, transport yourself with classic Italian flavors at this beloved eatery at Westside Provisions District. An awesome selection of pasta and mains are dished out to their stylish interiors or charming patio. We’re obsessed with the street art and mural work seen throughout the restaurants. When in Rome, or Westside Provisions District, we must eat like Romans!
8. Tre Vele
Where: Sandy Springs
This modern, yet timeless Italian eatery serves up those Italian favorites in their delightful dining room or snazzy rooftop terrace. The Ristorante features an innovative menu, and is a love letter to homemade pastas, as well as modern odes to classic Italian dishes. There’s a lunch, dinner, and brunch menu on offer. We definitely recommend heading there on the weekend to sample the brunch dishes!
9. Baffi
Where:
The self-proclaimed “casual, Italian-inspired restaurant,” Baffi’s menu features dishes using wood-burning hearth oven, like pan seared salmon, wood grilled steak, and that’s just a little taste of this much-loved menu. However, the stars on the menu are seen in their tempting appetizers section. Make sure to try out the meatballs! You won’t regret it.
10. Belli Pizzeria Napoletana
Where: Politan Row, Colony Square
One of the many incredible offerings at Colony Square’s luxury-focused food hall, Politan Row. Belli Pizzeria is a Neapolitan-style pizza concept curated by Chef Mario Ali. Get an authentic taste of Naples with the irresistible pizzas at Belli’s. From pizza staples like the margarita, to more unique and experimental pies, you can’t go wrong!
