Two Irresistible Cookie Dough Cafés Are Coming To Atlanta!

More Alumni Cookie Dough locations are on their way to the ATL!

The beloved cookie dough café in Athens is expanding. Opened in 2019 by Mike and Jennifer Dollander, followed by another location in Evans, there’s two more Alumni Cookie Dough locations on their way to Atlanta!

Their irresistible cookie dough has become an institutional part of any visit to Athens, but soon we’ll have easier access to Alumni, and we’re very excited about it.

Jennifer first got the idea to open up their first shop during a visit to NYC. She told Secret Atlanta, “My daughter and I were in New York for her 18th birthday. I was looking for other things to do in the city. I came across a cookie dough cafe in Greenwich Village, and I had never heard of anything like it.”

She added, “East Greenwich reminded me of Athens so much, so I thought, ‘why didn’t Athens have this?’ It would be so great considering it’s a college town!”

Thanks to Jennifer & Mike, long gone are the days when you’d get told off for eating cookie dough off the spoon. Now you can eat it by the spoon, at Alumni Cookie Dough! However, make sure you try out their cookie dough milkshake – it’s Jennifer’s favorite!

The two new locations will be in East Cobb, as well as Milton’s Crabapple Market. Both will be franchised with different partners, but the cookie dough will be just as delicious. The East Cobb Alumni Cookie Dough will host its grand opening on October 30, and Milton within the next couple of months.

You can find their Athens location at 480 N Thomas St, next to the Hyatt. Their Evans is at 1202 Town Park Lane Suite 106, behind the YMCA. The East Cobb location will be located in Marietta, at 1205 Johnson Ferry Rd. And their latest expansion will soon open at Crabapple Market in Milton. Follow them on Instagram to stay up to date with all thing Alumni.
