Vida De Arrte is all set to celebrate Latinx art, food, music, and more!
Beloved ATL street artist ARRRTADDICT has put together the ultimate celebration for Latinx Heritage Month, right here in Atlanta! She recently unveiled a spectacular mural on the BeltLine entitled Somos Borincanos, which will continue to expand and develop over the next year. It will also be the location for Vida De Arrte, a celebration presented by ARRRTADDICT for Latinx Heritage Month this weekend.
She recently posted on Instagram, “We have an amazing lineup of Afro-Latinx and Latinx artists as well as music, food, a plant propagation station, Bomba Y Plena, a Taino children’s activity table and more!”
The arts market will be located at the BeltLine’s Cold Beer, located beneath ARRRTADDICT’S massive Taino mural “Somos Borricanos”. With beers flowing, DJ’s spinning, and so much to do, it’ll certainly be a day to remember and the perfect way to celebrate & honor Latinx Heritage Month.
The impressive mural is a love letter to ARRRTADDICT’s ancestry and the importance of re-writing history to represent the truth. She told Secret Atlanta, “It was really important for me to tell this story, to honor my ancestors, and provide representation for Puerto Ricans, and all the Taino islands in the Caribbean.”
So make sure you’re at Vida De Arrte on Saturday October 23, at 670 DeKalb Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307. This unmissable fiesta will be taking place from 2pm until 8pm. Click here to register for the raffle, which will be taking place on the day. You can follow ARRRTADDICT on Instagram, here.
