An influx of artsy markets take over the country during the holidays, and Atlanta is no exception. And we’re more than excited for the Atlanta Contemporary’s festive offering, featuring a hand-selected collection of local artists who’ll set up shop for one day only.
Taking place on December 17, you can expect an array of possible gifts for your artist friends that are on the nice list.
From hand-built ceramics to one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, felted goods, and small sculptures, you may even be swayed to treat yourself to a little holiday treat. There are over a dozen artists and vendors taking part in the Contemporary’s festive market, including (but not limited to) sculptress Jess Self, artist Caitlin La Dolce, Jasmine Best, plus many more.
This event will be taking place inside and is free-of-charge. In fact, the Atlanta Contemporary is one of the best ways to experience art for free in A-Town, with free admission to their unmissable exhibitions throughout the year.
Parking is free in the Carriage Works lot at Bankhead & Means streets. You can access the lot via Bankhead Avenue and proceed past the parking attendant booth.
We hope to see y’all at the Atlanta Contemporary this holiday season for this one-time pop-up market at their adored space. You can find the art gallery at 535 Means St NW, 30318. Click here to visit their website for more information.
