We’ve got some big news, Atlanta! If you or someone you know is a great skater, keep reading. Because the Atlanta Hawks are looking for YOU!
Hold up. What? Skaters? For the Hawks?
Yes, you read that right! The Atlanta Hawks Flight Crew team is a group of brand ambassadors, entertainers, tumblers, drummers, skaters, and break dancers who use their unique personalities and talents to promote the Hawks brand at home games and in the community.
And on Monday, June 8th, the Hawks are holding open auditions for roller skaters to join the team.
Collectively, this team represents the Hawks at 150+ events and activations per year in addition to the 41 regular season home games.
Okay, so how can I audition?
Lace up and head to the rink! At the audition, participants will learn a choreographed routine from professional roller skater, Solomon, and perform it for a panel of judges to be considered for the next round.
When: June 8, 2026
Check In: 12:30pm
Where: Cascade Skating Rink | 3335 MLK Jr. Dr. Atlanta, GA 30331
What to wear: Athletic skating attire. Show up with hair, makeup, accessories ready. Hawks colors encouraged.
Please bring your own skates. All participants must be 19 years old or older to audition.
If you are selected to move on to the next round, here’s what you can expect:
- June 16, 2026 – Interviews
- July 6, 2026 – Headshots
- July 8, 2026 – Bootcamp
- July 9-11, 2026 – Final Showcase Rehearsals
- July 12, 2026 – Final Showcase
