The 47th annual Atlanta Jazz Festival is a cultural celebration that Atlantans love to go to every year! Hosted by the City of Atlanta’s Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, the mission of the Atlanta Jazz Festival, according to their website, is to “expose and entertain a diverse audience of Jazz aficionados, young Jazz enthusiasts and aspiring musicians to the rich heritage and variety of Jazz as an authentic form of American music.”
31 Days of Jazz
To celebrate the incredibly rich and profound history of Jazz in the United States and Atlanta specifically, the Atlanta Jazz Festival is hosting a 31 Days of Jazz event! Starting at the end of April and throughout May, everyone can expect to enjoy free jazz events all over the city!
Expect to enjoy rooftop jazz concerts, galleries, museums, and special events at select restaurants.
The Jazz Festival
The Atlanta Jazz Festival is a culmination of the month-long celebration of jazz. At the festival, you’ll be able to enjoy jazz musicians from all over the world, sharing in their love for the American music genre. This year has a spectacular lineup of 15 amazing artists, including Atlanta’s own André 3000!
