Craving bagels in Atlanta can be a bit of a conundrum, as there are so many iconic spots across the ATL for grabbing a bagel and a coffee. Luckily, we’re here to break it down for y’all. From a classic cream cheese filling to more experimental creations, here are seven eateries in and around A-Town with the absolute best bagels.
1. Emerald City Bagels
Where: East Atlanta
Recently making our round-up of unmissable things to do in East Atlanta, you have to follow the yellow brick road to Emerald City Bagels if you’re a fan of bagels, the superior breakfast sandwich in our opinion. Speaking of breakfast, many ATLiens love starting their day with their breakfast bagels.
2. 101 Bagel Cafe
Where: Several locations
All your bagel-needs are safe at 101 Bagel Cafe. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or even a snack that works at any time of the day, they have an extensive menu of bagels, sandwiches, drinks, and more. Nothing beats one of their iced drinks when the Georgia sun is shining.
3. Brooklyn Bagel & Deli
Where: Ansley Park
For a true taste of NYC in the ATL, then you’ve got to check out Brooklyn Bagel & Deli. With homemade bagels baked fresh every day, their incredible selection of sandwiches are top-notch. However, you can buy the bagels to take home and create whatever you please.
4. Goldberg’s Fine Foods
Where: Several locations
This go-to Georgia chain has grown for good reason, boasting eight locations across the A. There’s an overwhelming menu of incredible options, including gluten free. We suggest trying their Jalapeno Cheddar bagel if you don’t mind things a little spicy.
5. Bagel Boys Cafe
Where: Alpharetta
An ATL staple for bagels, breakfast, and deli-style dishes, you have to stop by Bagel Boys if you’re ever craving some bagel action when roaming the Sandy Springs area. Out of all of their menu items, we think our favorite is the Lunch Bagel Dog, all-beef hot dog wrapped in asiago bagel dough.
6. B-Side
Where: Decatur
B-Side Bagels & Supplies is made in-house at the beloved The Deer + the Dove restaurant. Freshly rolled and wood fired daily, their bagels are available in sandwich-form or to take home in all their holy glory.
7. The Bronx Bagel Buggy
Where: Pop-up
Another offering rightfully inspired by NYC, The Bronx Bagel Buggy sets up shop at different locations throughout the year. Click here to stay up-to-date with their adorable stall, which uses the freshest ingredients for bagels to take home.
