Macon is hosting a blooming lovely Cherry Blossom Festival this March!
An hour or so away from Atlanta is the enchanting city of Macon. For eight days from the 17th of March, the city’s International Cherry Blossom Festival will return for its annual celebration of spring.
Almost 350,000 Yoshino Cherry Trees bloom around the city every year, and have done since 1982. There will be several events happening throughout the festival to honor this magical time of year. From family fun to the most enchanting trails through the city, don’t miss the International Cherry Blossom Festival.
The Yoshino cherry trees turn Macon into a pinky white paradise, that slowly became a Georgian gem that’s worth checking out every spring.
From March the 17th up until the 26th, several events will be taking place all over the city in honor of their gorgeous habitants. Click here to see the full list of events on their website. You can expect anything and everything from dog shows to a food truck frenzy, pink pancakes for breakfast, plus so much more.
