Throughout the holidays, Chick-Fil-A stores across the country begin the sale of its cheery Peppermint Chip Milkshakes (available today, November 16), to commemorate the most wonderful time of the year. One of the Georgia-based chicken chain’s locations, however, go a step further. Drive-thru events have been the breakout form of entertainment since the onset of the pandemic, as a safe and secure alternative to in-person gatherings. One could make the meme-based argument that at fast food franchises like Chick-Fil-A, that it always has been. In continuation of their annual holiday tradition, the Chick-Fil-A at 3637 Atlanta Hwy are putting on an epic light show complete with over one million lights!
Every night, 20 curbside spots will be available for guests to drive up and enjoy the seasonal spectacle. Although the #LightsOfAthens is still a go this year, the Chick location at 3637 Atlanta Hwy will remain closed to indoor dining. That said, customers can still cruise through the drive-thru to pick up chicken sandwiches, sweet teas, and waffle fries.
Lights of Athens is held nightly beginning at 6 pm, save for Sundays obviously.
Chick-Fil-A made news earlier this year by announcing the release of their iconic sauces in retail centers across the south. Any time now, Georgians will be able to purchase their signature sauces in Krogers, Publix, Walmarts, and Winn-Dixies across the state.
