April is making good on the most famous saying about it–‘April showers bring May flowers’ with a storm system moving through Georgia early this week.
Beginning on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 late at night, there is a threat of severe weather. Along with a temperature drop of nearly 20 degrees from the beginning of the week to Tuesday night, Atlantans can expect rain and strong wind.
According to Fox 5 Atlanta, “The brunt of the system’s impact will be felt across north Georgia through the overnight hours before tapering off shortly after sunrise Wednesday.”
Of course, to plan for a rainy day, try to stay off the roads and make sure to protect yourself from the weather as much as possible. This includes driving alert and conscious of the weather!
Fox 5 says, “Thunderstorms will move into Georgia after sunset, but there will be a low-end chance of a few showers arriving during the late afternoon and early evening.”
