What is DreamHack?
DreamHack is the world’s leading gaming lifestyle festival, and it comes to the ATL every year to celebrate the industry right here in Georgia. And DreamHack is more than just a festival. It’s a celebration of play, competition, and community. It’s where the gaming world comes to life.
This 2025 edition will be the biggest DreamHack Atlanta yet, bringing America’s largest Halloween costume contest with $20K in prizes; more than 20 esports tournaments, including 7 world championship titles; over 1000 guests include more than 30 voice actors and hololive VTuber Group; a special Student Friday; as well as concerts, cosplay competition, indie games, LAN parties, and all-ages entertainment, all under one roof.
What can DreamHack festival goers expect?

Along with all the fun of a cosplay, Halloween, gaming convention, here are some of the highlights that festival-goers an expect at DreamHack this year:
- 1000+ special guests attending include over 30 voice actors and the hololive VTuber Group
- more than 20 esports tournaments, including seven world championship titles, with a nearly $6.6 million prize pool across competitions

What about the largest costume contest in the U.S.?

Of course, this year is SUPER special because DreamHack is hosting the largest Halloween Costume Contest in the entire United States. And you could win TONS of amazing costumes. Here’s how you compete:
- Wear your costume to DreamHack on Friday, October 31, 2025. You can go spooky, funny, or just simply JAW DROPPING!
- Scan the QR code on your Golden Ticket and complete the Google Form to confirm. Arrive at the Main Stage by 4:00 PM sharp and stick around for the full segment.
- WIN!! Strut your stuff on stage and compete for a share of the $20,000 prize pool.
Note: Costumes must be family-friendly (maximum PG-13 rating).
