The free Festival on Ponce is an annual celebration of arts here in the ATL!
Enjoy the gorgeous landscaping of the historic Olmsted Linear Park at the beloved Festival On Ponce. One of the many ATL arts and crafts festivals in the springtime, Festival On Ponce will boast over 125 displays of fine arts and crafts, folk and “outsider art”. In addition to the fine arts, there will be a children’s area and local food and beverage.
The Olmsted Linear Park Alliance has a $10 million capital improvement plan to protect these historic parks, which serves as one of the main arteries between Atlanta and Decatur. The Festival On Ponce is a great way to enjoy the parks and its stunning scenery.
Festival on Ponce will be taking place on April 1-2, 2023. It will be open 10am until 5pm on Saturday, and then 11am until 5pm on Sunday. For more information, visit their website.
As well as incredible art, enjoy an array of local food trucks, beverages, a children’s play area, live acoustic music, a DJ, and much more. The event is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.
In other springtime news, Sandy Springswill also be hosting an unmissable arts festival this spring. With over 150 vendors, artists, and things to do, it’s one of the many things to do in A-Town over Easter weekend. Click here for more information on Sandy Springs’ ‘Artsapalooza’!
However, if you’re searching for something a little more connected to the nature-side of the spring season, don’t miss Macon’s renowned Cherry Blossom Festival, taking over the central Georgia city for an entire week this March. Click the link below for more information.
