Everyone loves to end the year and the new one start with a good BANG, so this year, we’re recommending five fireworks shows to get you feeling festive for the New Year!
1. The Atlanta Peach Drop

After the shocking decision to cancel the Peach Drop last year, this year, sources are saying it will be back… with a bang! While we don’t know for sure if the Peach Drop will happen or not… keep an eye out for an update! As soon as we know, you’ll know!

2. New Year’s Eve Bash presented by Xfinity

Say HELLO to 2025 at the annual New Year’s Eve Bash at The Battery Atlanta! This spectacular NYE show includes a performance by Four-time GRAMMY Nominee Brady Rymer, tons of festivities, a branded inflatable baseball drop at 8pm for the kiddos, and of course, a massive countdown leading up to tons of fireworks and the new year at midnight!

If you’re just looking to enjoy all of the fireworks in the sky on New Year’s Eve, then a great spot to view the skylines of Midtown and Buckhead is the 17th street bridge. You can see all the fireworks in the sky from this vantage point, so you won’t miss out on anything!
4. Jackson Street Bridge
Address: 433 Freedom Park Trail
Another great spot to watch the sky for fireworks all night is the Jackson Street Bridge in East Atlanta. This Walking Dead shooting location is a famous and recognizable ATL location, so all of your photos of the sky will turn out truly iconic!
5. Kid’s Early NYE Celebration at Stone Mountain Park
Address: 1000 Robert E. Lee Blvd., Stone Mountain, GA 30083
If you want to see fireworks but you don’t want to wait until midnight… you’re in luck! Stone Mountain Park is hosting an Early NYE celebration, and it’s not to be missed!
According to their website, “During Stone Mountain Christmas on Dec. 31, Stone Mountain Park will operate the Christmas event as usual and then we’ll ring in the early New Year with a magical snowfall and early [2025] countdown. When the clock strikes 9 p.m., enjoy fireworks to usher in the New Year early!”
