Atlanta is an epicenter for sensational art, and it doesn’t have to cost you a thing to witness it! From free days at the High Museum of Art to the best public art programs that are transforming the ATL into a gigantic outdoor art gallery, don’t miss out on these free art experiences in Atlanta.
1. Atlanta Contemporary
Where: 535 Means St NW, 30318
The Atlanta Contemporary is one of the southeast’s leading contemporary art centers, and it’s completely free to enter (although registration is required). You can always count on an eclectic mix of contemporary art exhibitions and installations. Click here to visit their website.

2. Art on the BeltLine
Where: Throughout the city
The arts program for the BeltLine has provided Atlantans with spectacular murals (pictured above “All in Together” by Jenevieve), sculptures, live performances, and so much more. Since its beginnings, they have been turning the beloved trail throughout Atlanta into a vibrant artsy experience. For more information on all the art available, visit their website. 3. High Museum of Art
Where: 535 Means St NW, 30318
Although the High Museum of Art does charge admission, you can still access the killer museum free of charge on their free days. On the second Sunday of each month, they offer free admission for all visitors from 12 noon to 5 p.m. There’s even special programming like art-making activities, performances, and the High’s collection and special exhibitions.
