May your wildest nightmares come true at Douglasville’s spooky haunted house, Nightmare’s Gate! The horror attraction has slowly become a beloved Halloween traditions for many ATLiens over its thirteen year legacy. This year’s epic line-up has expanded to three haunts, so you’re guaranteed a ghoulish time.
Firstly explore the Nightmares Gate General Hospital, which has been abandoned for generations. Find out why and delve into the horrifying mysteries within its creepy walls. Terror Falls is a haunt that’ll transport you to the swamp where the locals have gone missing, with the Military Search and Rescue group having entered, but never coming back out.
Finally The Hauntings of Longview Estate is the ultimate haunted house experience. This once beautiful estate is now left decrepit with crumbling walls and rotting furniture. The tormented souls are left restless wandering the halls waiting for their next victim.
Nightmare’s Gate is open from the last Friday and Saturday in September, with the attraction open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October. The last night of their Spooky Season will fall on no-other than Halloween, October 31st. It’s open eight until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and eight until eleven on Sunday nights.
Ticket prices vary depending on how many haunts you wish to experience. Each haunt is individually $25, with combo deals ranging from $35-$45. There are also Fast Pass tickets available for an additional charge. For more information, click here to visit their website.
