The High Museum of Art are launching a brand-new experience, entitled Oasis, designed for visitors to embrace the present through mind, body, spirit and art.
These separate activations come together for this mindful immersive journey through Atlanta’s adored art museum.
Practice medication, start your yoga journey, and explore new perspectives to cultivate community centered on art, presence and different spiritual practices.
But since enrichening your connection to yourself is thirst work, you can expect a selection of zero-proof beverages, including a selection of teas provided by Atlanta’s Black-owned just add honey, and tempting mocktails too!
The first-ever Oasis will be taking place on March 10, and continue to happen on the second Friday of each month. This fresh addition to the High’s unmissable selection of events and exhibitions is sponsored by lululemon.
Each month will have a different theme, with the first being Nature as Refuge, inspired by the High’s new exhibition “Joseph Stella: Visionary Nature.” Activities will include a sound bath, an in-gallery conversation connecting art and African traditional spiritual practices, plus so much more.
There will even be a floral still life drawing session on the High’s Orkin Terrace, so can unleash your inner artist, as well as connect to like-minded people.
Tickets cost $25 for non-members, and free-of-charge if you have membership. For more information on all this exciting new experience, click here to visit the event’s page on the High’s website.
